Friday: June 8th

Today the students had their first Alternative Energy class where they discussed the positive and negative impacts that Renewable Energy has on our world. In the afternoon they had their 2^nd Portuguese class where they learned some basic language skills, such as, common phrases and the alphabet.

 Oi Gente!

Well after a long haul we've made it! First off I would like to start by introducing myself; my name is Brianna McDowell and I will be the TA for the Summer 2 Alternative Energy and Sustainability Dialogue in Brazil. I will be updating our blog periodically with pictures of the students on daily activities and information about our excursions!
