Journey to Curitiba
Students rest up in the airport before our flight to Curitiba.
After waiting an hour in line for Torre Panoramica we got a panoramic view of Curitiba!
São João Landfill and Museu do Futebol
Around 10 a.m on July 27th, the students visited the São João Landfill where they learned the process of how the waste is processed and maintained. São João landfill is responsible for about 50% of São Paulo trash exportation, and is projected to have a lifetime of about 12 more years.
Later that day, we visited one of São Paulo's major soccer stadiums where we were able to learn the history of Brazilian soccer through interactive games and videos.
